At Tri-Creek Family Dentistry we strive to provide excellent dentistry for our patients in a comfortable environment.  Dr. Conaway is committed to providing almost all aspects of dentistry to his patients.  Below you will find a list of the services offered at Tri-Creek Family Dentistry.

All Aspects Of Dentistry For The Whole Family

We proudly provide high quality care for everybody from the little kids to teens to moms and dads to grandmas and grandpas!
We believe it is important to begin routine dental check-ups at a young age. Even though we don't have them for as long, baby teeth are just as important as permanent teeth.  We encourage parents to start bringing in their children at age 3. This allows the children to become familiar with the routine of coming to the dentist and helps to identify any issues as early as possible.

Preventative Maintenance/Periodontal Therapy

At Tri-Creek Family Dentistry, our patients value their oral health and we insist on helping them maintain it.  Our hygienists provide a thorough cleaning based upon your prescribed schedule (usually six months) and regular monitoring of probing depths and periodontal health.  At recall visits, Dr. Conaway will diagnose decay (if any) and prescribe treatment if necessary as well as address any concerns the patient or the hygienist may have.

In certain circumstances where periodontal disease (bone loss) is present, cleanings would be more involved and more frequent visits may be necessary.  However, the disease can be managed with good oral hygiene and regular professional cleanings.

Comprehensive Restorative

At Tri-Creek Family Dentistry, we offer our patients the choice of composites (tooth-colored fillings) or amalgams (silver fillings).  We agree with the ADA and AGD's findings that amalgam is a safe and effective restorative material.

Notice to ALL Patients with Treatment Plans Including Restorations

Tri-Creek Family Dentistry always strives to deliver the highest quality care to their patients. Some patients choose to have composites ("tooth-colored" fillings) instead of amalgams ("silver" fillings) in their back teeth.  We would like all of our patients to know that composites have a higher fee than amalgams due to a higher cost of the materials and longer procedure time.

We would also like all of our insured patients to know that most insurance companies only pay what they would have paid for a silver filling and the difference will be your responsibility.

Crown and Bridge

We offer our patients the choice of gold, porcelain fused to metal, and all ceramic crowns.  Dr. Conaway will work with you to determine which type would be the best for you.

Endodontic Therapy/Root Canal Therapy

Dr. Conaway currently provides endodontic therapy for anterior teeth and most premolars. He will evaluate each case individually and determine if the tooth can be treated in our office or if a referral is necessary. If Dr. Conaway determines that the tooth can not be treated with us, he will make sure that you have a referral to a qualified endodontist (root canal specialist) to fulfill your treatment requirements. After the root canal therapy is completed, Dr. Conaway will complete the required restoration of the tooth.

Oral Surgery/Extractions

Dr. Conaway is also proud to offer in-house extractions in most situations.  Post-op instructions and pain management will be provided at that appointment.

Cosmetic Procedures (Whitening, Veneers, Porcelain Crowns)

Your smile is very important.  Let Dr. Conaway improve your smile with the cosmetic dentistry that is right for you.

Removable Partials/Dentures

If you have lost multiple or all of your teeth, you may require dentures or removable partial dentures. Dr. Conaway will discuss the options of restoring your teeth and will decide with you the best restoration for each individual case.

Conventional Implants

Conventional implants are the most natural form of tooth replacement.  Currently, Dr. Conaway does not offer placement of the implant body in office but he does restore them and can answer any question you have about them.  He will work with you to see which specialist would be right for you.

Tri-Creek Family Dentistry does not offer orthodontics.  However, we will work with your orthodontist to ensure the best final result.  You have the right to choose which orthodontist you would like to see.  If you do not have a preference, we will gladly provide you with a referral.
